A.Y.O.F. 2013

 

Australian Youth Olympic Festival 2013 Opening Ceremony.

 

Natasha from Stage 3 who is a member of the

South Western Sydney Regional Choir, performed in the Opening Ceremony of the Australian Youth Olympic Festival 2013 at the Sydney Entertainment Centre on 16^th January 2013.

Students from Public Schools across New South Wales performed in Choir, Orchestra and Dance.

A number of secondary school V.E.T. students worked on the Stage Management Crew along with D.E.T. staff members.
Choir students attended rehearsals on 12^th and 14^th January at the Arts Unit at Lewisham.

Two former P.P.P.S. students, Christine and Megan performed in the Choir. Megan  had also performed in the A.Y.O.F. 2009 Opening Ceremony.

This was a wonderful opportunity provided by the Arts Unit, for students to perform.

The next Y.O.F. will be held in China.
