Samba Percussion Experience Workshops

Classes have been involved in the Samba Experience Percussion Workshops with Tom Harding. The students practised the various rhythms with a combination of body movement and body percussion at first. This was then transferred to performances on the four different instruments played in the workshop .... the surdo drums, agogo bells, tambourim and the ganza. Students performed on all four instruments through a rotation basis. Students were suitably entertained by Tom with his amusing anecdotes. They also enjoyed a rendition by Tom on the ukelele at the end of the workshops. Positive recommendation is that a number of students have asked could Tom run workshops again next year!
