Students at P.P.P.S. will perform the Music Count Us In song "The Music is Everything" at 11.30 a.m. on Thursday 22nd October 2009 in the school hall. Students in schools across Australia will perform the same song at the same time to highlight the value of music education in schools.
The whole school will sing the song led by a number of vocal soloists and accompanied by students playing violins, recorders, guitars, glockenspiels and a variety of untuned percussion instruments.
The whole school will also perform "Sing Sing" from 2008 and "Life is a Song" from 2007. This year there will be a movie presentation showing students rehearsing during music classes.
Parents, family members and friends are welcome to attend the performance.
