Students from various Sydney Regional Choirs participated in a workshop on Saturday 29th August 2009 with Australian composer Paul Jarman and Aboriginal Dharawal Elder and historian Les Busrsill
.
. The workshop was held at Darlington Public School from 10.00 a.m. - 4.00 p.m. concluding with a performance for parents and families. The song " Marloo " composed by Paul Jarman with lyrics by Les Bursill was rehearsed throughout the workshop.
Angela and Lachlan two Padstow Park P.S. students who are members of the S.W.S. Regional Choir attended the workshop along with 3 other S.W.S. Regional Choir members, Madeline, Matthew and James.
